The Goodyear Efficientgrip Cargo 2 shows a split personality in testing. On dry roads it is engaging, with the sharpest steering response in the group and good dry braking. On wet surfaces, grip drops off noticeably: wet braking and aquaplaning scores are below average, and the tire feels nervous at the rear during fast lane changes with a narrow limit range before breakaway. It has the lowest load index in the test and is the heaviest tire, though rolling resistance remains reasonable.
